Had to find a desk in another terminal to check bag, then pay an another desk for said checked bag. We saved money by ticketing this way but we almost missed our flight"

Cons: "It’s frustrating to not have the ability to select seats before arriving at check in counter when there’s really not much to choose from."

Cons: "I was not able to buy from the duty free discounted offers on the plane. The discounted shopping panflet was not on my LA/Zurich flight.... so I didn't see it and did not buy then.... And on my second part of the trip Zurich/Nice they refused to sell me to me from the Duty Free because they didn't have time..... :( The dark hair flight attendant in the back of that plane was not informative or nice....I had to talk to the head flight attendant in the front of the plane, she was more professional! Other than that everything was good!"

Pros: "Problem free."

Cons: "Please let families with small children board early. This is the first flight I remember where I and other families with small children had to board with everyone else, and it's stressful for all involved."

Cons: "Reviewing Business class Nothing memorable at all. An ok dinner after take off followed by a tiny salad 8h later before landing. Quite minimal for such a long flight. The entertainment system needs special mention for its awfulness. The system in Business class would be considered poor even in Econ - small screen, terrible picture quality and a painful, prehistoric interface."

Pros: "The Crew is amazing and the plane is comfortable."

Cons: "The food changed and is not really swiss anymore (we got an Oreo for dessert and Cheddar for cheese). My luggage arrived broken in Geneva, which might not be Swiss' fault, but a big problem when you have two weeks of travel ahead."

Cons: "On ticket it said time between flights was 1hr 25min, but as soon as we got off the plane we had to RUN through Zurich airport, where 1000 other people were all trying to funnel down the single escalator to Passport Control, to get to our gate. Then we had to wait in another Passport Control. TERRIBLE and stressful. The actual flight was fine."

Pros: "Very pleasant and friendly attendants. Food good, you'll never feel hungry! Love the chocolates!"

Pros: "comfortable flight"

Cons: "1stly the lady at the check in was not nice [ i should have gotten her name -] she was rude and quite 'authoritarian' which is uncalled for- when you have paid an expensive ticket are just trying to check in. then I checked an extra bag - and could not pay where i checked in. i had to go to another counter to pay - there was a line and it took a good few extra minutes - and i still had to get thru security. if you can pay at the check in counter this would avoid this extra step. i was really not happy about it swiss air needs better efficiency and better customer service"

Cons: "The movies were the same so coming back there was nothing to watch."

Pros: "Everything"

Pros: "The flight staff was so kind."

Pros: "Nothing! It was the first day of our honeymoon, and it was ruined by Swiss."

Cons: "This (attempted) flight was like living a nightmare. The aircraft had a problem with the A/C, so we sat in the extremely hot aircraft on the tarmac for 2 hours while they tried to fix the problem. Then, when we were finally told that the aircraft could not fly, the Swiss staff said that we were "not allowed" to leave the aircraft. After stressed passengers confronted the crew demanding to be let off the aircraft, we went back into the terminal to wait for hours in line as just two Swiss staff filled out hotel vouchers by hand for over 200 passengers. Adding insult to injury, we were then told to wait for a hotel shuttle at the curb, despite the fact that the shuttle had stopped running hours earlier at midnight. I didn't fly to Switzerland until the next day, losing hundreds of dollars on a missed hotel stay in Zurich, and travel plans. And it was an awful start to my honeymoon. The way the Swiss staff treated us was unconscionable and insulting. They have not responded to my several written complaints, so maybe Kayak can help!!!"

Pros: "ROTTEN SWISS AIR.I WILL NEVER FLY WITH AGAIN!"

Cons: "ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT AFTER TWO WEEKS HIKING MT BLANC .ANXIOUS TO GET HOME.WHEN I ARRIVE I WAS INFORMED I AM FLYING"STAND BY"KEEP IN MIND I PAID FOR THE TICKETS WHICH I HAD IN MY POSSESSION.YES!I DID BOARD THE FLIGHT BUT FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS I WAS NOT SURE .APPARENTLY SWISS AIR POLICY IS IF THEY OVERBOOK THEY AUTOMATICALLY RELEGATE ECONOMY CLASS PASSENGERS TO STAND BY AND THEN LET THEM GRAVE/BEG FOR THE SEAT YOU ALREADY PAID FOR.I WILL NOT FORGET THIS!40 YEARS OF FLYING THIS WAS A FIRST FOR ME.YOU STINK SWISS AIR!"

Cons: "I paid extra for legroom but was in the main walkway so my feet were stepped on for the entire flight."

Cons: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Cons: "We were unable to fly this trip."

Cons: "The airline as a whole, however, encourages you to book with them under the reasonable assumption that connecting flights with Lufthansa will be achievable. Now that I've seen Frankfurt, There was no way they could actually expect any of us to make our connecting flights. And they offer no compensation. When I did get another flight, it was terribly delayed. Talking in line with regular European travelers, they said they expect it. Also met several fliers at the service desk attempting to connect via entirely different routes, all having the same experience."

The business class layout on this plane is tightly packed and atrocious with no sense of privacy.

Pros: "Older aircraft; no charging or internet. However, I was able to stretch out and sleep due to the aircraft not being full. The crew was great!"

Cons: "The flight was very late to take off. The aircraft could be improved with charging outlets for smartphones/computers, and Internet. I was offered food and beverage, without knowing these were not free. For the cost, the size and quality was poor."

Pros: "Nice crew."

Pros: "From checkin to luggage collection - the flight was easy and without hassle. We left slightly later than scheduled but arrived slightly earlier than scheduled. Staff from check in to those onboard we polite and professional. The aircraft was clean, bright and appeared in good order."

Cons: "Luggage collection took a little while longer than I would have expected - only a minor point, nothing to change airlines for."

Cons: "These jerks delayed our flight because our plane was late in arriving. Fine. They give us zero information on what’s going on as we stand in line forever. Then they load us onto the jet and apologize for the delay. Then the jerks announced a new delay. This time a flight in Palermo had technical difficulties, so we would take on their passengers. After another hour sitting in this tin can and our own flight passengers now missing there connections due to this double delay the pilot announced he has no clue what’s going on. He hasn’t heard from the company!!! The passengers were mad! Another time elapsed. Captain says we can’t wait. Let’s go. Now half of us missed our connections!! Air Malta I have a message to you. Clean up your unprofessional act. I get it that a flight had delays but then you did the same thing to us!! I’m pissed at your holier than thou attitude. You were 100% unprofessional."

Pros: "On time , comfortable seats , nice staff"

Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Fare itself is very reasonable for distance."

Cons: "Baggage fees are ridiculous! I paid double the cost of the actual flight for my checked bag. Have never had this happen in 25 years of travel. Is Air Malta becoming Ryan Air?? Staff couldn’t seem to get food service down. Constant running up and down aisle trying to sort out and sandwiches. Trying to nap on aisle seat with constant shouting was impossible. Seatbelt sign also sounds alarm constantly."

Pros: "It was a cheap budget flight which gets you from A to B with no frills !"

Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "It was for the most part on time."

Cons: "Basically a mostly-on-time bus in the sky. Both trips there were issues with soap in the bathroom. The first time: a shared hotel bar. The second: no soap at all. Food awful (tuna sandwiches for everyone served in a closed tube hurtling through the air not my idea of a good time) but it was a short flight from Amsterdam to Malta so whatever."

Pros: "Relatively on time. Friendly crew."

Cons: "Only had a bar of soap for the bathroom for everyone to use. Didn't seem very hygienic."

Pros: "It was a short flight, so we didn't have a meal or anything like that. But all in all the service was fine."

Pros: "The friendly staff at check in and at the boarding gate."

Cons: "The food it far from satisfactory."

Pros: "Even though the airplane was packed, I didn't feel crowded."

Pros: "The crew were uplifting and ready to serve. Genuine smiles and greetings. Take off & landing were very smooth. The aircraft I was in did the job well."

Pros: "Flight was on time, Staff was courteous"

Pros: "On time. Crew is very friendly. Smooth."

Pros: "Crew was ok and the seat was a bit uncomfortable. I am over 6 feet so I always have a bit of a problem with the seat"

Cons: "Seat"

Cons: "Checking in was quite annoying because BA canceled our return and over the phone but we still had to transfer all our information upon checking. Boarding rather chaotic. Random searches were not organized. Seats were okay. Food just edible. Mostly the staff was polite and there was one attendant in coach who was very pleasant. Shoulder length blonde hair, she was genuine and cheerful. It was an okay flight, but my experience was more comfortable and the feeling of being dealt with as a person was more evident on my flight to London w BA. I appreciate that the flight went well but American Airlines still has a long way to go in customer genuine service and experience."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "They checked everyone’s carry on bags, which made the boarding process incredible slow, then they made you stand on a bus until it was full, to drive to the plane to walk up stairs in the rain. I kept my bag for 20 hours, flying from Vancouver to Calgary to London and before my flight to Madrid. They didn’t care that I said I didn’t want to give it up or that I had to make a connection. Madrid’s airport is notorious for have slow baggage handling, so they are making me wait. I packed for 2 weeks in a carry on and back pack to avoid checking luggage. I am disappointed."

Cons: "Extremely unsatisfying, to the point of not wanting to fly BA again. If I had not had previous satisfaction with Kayak on other flights, I might not use it again. They my bags for 3 days and had hideous communication about it. Had no feeling that anyone could be reached about or that anyone cared at all. Late takeoff again. There was an impossible amount of time left under even the best curc*mstances, to go from one flight to another, resulting in flight being missed and being sent to another city and losing my money on ground transport that was prepaid. The communication issue is the worst of it all. Massively frustrating."

Cons: "This is the second time your plans have been late! You were late leaving from Venice to London Heathrow on August 1 which I barely made the flight to Glasgow and then coming back your flight is late leaving Edinburgh to Heathrow And my luggage doesn't make it again! You don't even serve water on the airplane which is ridiculous! Your flight crew were nice but you really need to be on time or not schedule flights with such short layover times! And I hope no one takes anything out of my suitcase! And I'm sure nothing will be done so why do you even do a survey?"

Pros: "The cabin crew were excellent. The food service was very good. Entertainment choices were abundant and generally good."

Cons: "Reaching our connecting flight. The Bataan death march comes to mind—concourse 3 to 5, oh my! Having got through all the hurdles including incomprehensible up, down, up again down again escalator rides and security pat down for my wife we got to Concourse 5 where we learned our plane was leaving from C gates, but not which C gate. So we looked for directions to C gates. The only signage was for C gates 52 to 57. Common sense would lead one to believe that C gates 1 to 51 existed somewhere in the terminal; but no they do not and not many people are aware that they don’t. There has to be a better way. Perhaps before Brexit becomes a reality you could lean on Germany’s vaunted efficiency to help clean up this nightmare scenario."

Pros: "Will use the service again"

Cons: "Yes love the journey"

Cons: "The crew were spread thin and not particularly helpful. We were charged for drinks that are usually complimentary (water and ginger ale) and when the credit card slip needed to be signed, my partner's ginger ale was spilled. The attendants couldn't be bothered to give us more than two co*cktail napkins to clean up an entire can-worth, and did not offer to replace the drink. I had to dig into my bag to try and find napkins because there was soda covering the tray as well as all over the seat and his lap. I've always had positive experiences on BA flights, but sorry to say this one was sub-par."

Pros: "Food was good, especially breakfast. Flight wasn’t full at all so plenty of room to stretch out"

Pros: "Crew was mostly kind and helpful. My bags arrived at their final destination."

Cons: "I was told that I had to check my bag because it would not fit in the overhead bin. When I got on the plane I found that the overhead bins were ample sized for my hiking pack. I know that British Airways has a policy regarding bags in overhead bins that basically says 'if you cannot lift your bag into the overhead bin un-assisted, you must check your bag.' My husband and I are both experienced hikers, we lifted our packs unassisted on the last plane, yet they forced us to check our bags. I'm glad our bags made it to the UK, but this is literally the first time I've checked a bag and had it arrive. Also, the boarding passes sent to me on my phone were rejected by almost every security/boarding check. This is after BA supposedly fixed their error with the previous boarding passes. Overall not pleased with the experience but glad I paid under $300 for my ticket."

Pros: "The A-380 is outstanding. Seats are good, even in economy. Entertainment system is great."

Cons: "It seems to me that boarding by Groups has not helped in the least bit, instead it has made things slower. It's bad enough that the charges and limitations on luggage have forced everyone to try to board with their suitcases... The group system just makes things worse. I recommend BA compares itself to Lufthansa, Swiss, Qatar, Thai, whatever, and avoid trying to match Easyjet and American Airlines on service levels. Oh, and there is no excuse for long delays and cancellations in the most important airport in Europe. At least not for a simple dusting of snow."

Pros: "This was actually a very pleasant trip. Left a few minutes late (minor mechanical issue) but arrived right on time. Crew was courteous and efficient. The food was the best I have had on any airline in years. Entertainment included a good selection of recent movies."

Cons: "I'm 6'2" and slender - those seats are tight in both leg room and shoulder width, hence the "OK" rating for comfort. I was fortunate that my seat mates were also slender so none of us overlapped the armrests, and that the person ahead of me never reclined their seat because I have no idea of where my legs would have fitted had they done so. The only other gripe is that the volume of the entertainment system seems disconnected from the announcement system. The announcement system is WAY louder than the entertainment system - painfully so. I noticed many others around me also ripping off their headphones when a crew announcement commenced."

Pros: "Mediocre experience on the ground; much better in the air -- competent, pleasant cabin crew."

Cons: "It seems amazing to me that BA will leave 50 First and Business Class passengers standing in line while they pre-board "families with young children". Some of the families had children who were 7 or 8 years old and certainly had no need for pre-boarding; its just an opportunistic way of jumping the queue. Similarly, some of the "elderly" passengers who claim to need pre-boarding on departure spring to their feet and dash down the aisle on arrival. Air Canada boards Business Class first on this same route; I'm going to migrate back to them, as virtually everything else on the two flights is comparable."

Cons: "I paid for TWO EXTRA suitcases for my flight. I carefully packed and weighted them in advance. The "lady" on the counter made me remove one jacket and one pair of boots from each suitcase because it was GRAMS over the limit. Grams those that my hand scale did not accuse at all. The following customer right after me had KILOS OVER the limit (almost SEVEN) and were not flying business or first class, regular economic class just like me. And they did not had to remove a thing from their extra heavy suitcases. What is the company criteria? Anyway, I bought me another return flight on OTHER airline and simply lost my return flight on BA. I am never flying this horrible company again."

Cons: "This was in coach class, so I understand the cramped quarters, but even on a long haul flight (BA 49, LHR-SEA), how could they justify the seating in the planes? Perhaps BA executives should fly coach class on one of these planes to understand what they are putting their customers up to. Here are 2 additional items that should be a no-brainer to fix: a) They ran out of fresh bottled water. For the last one hour, all they could offer was sparkling water b) Somehow BA seem to be saving on food portions (or their caterer needs to be changed) - lunch/dinner portions are way too small."

Pros: "Not much to say about this. Really the experience was not so good and I think the only good thing to say is that their planes still work."

Cons: "First they they over sold the flight and as we had our previous flight delayed they didn't allow us to cross the gates as they said we couldn't make it on time rather than telling us the truth. The staff didn't do anything to help us to catch the flight and insisted in putting us on the next flight. Thankfully I noticed that the flight was delayed and I crossed the gates despite that the staff didn't want us to do it. Once in the plane, the flight entertainment was poor, didn't work and staff said it was too busy to help us out in putting our stuff on the overhead compartment or even giving us the beer we wanted despite having our choice In front of us."

Pros: "Nothing."

Cons: "Everything. Overpriced"

Pros: "Troy was very helpful and entertaining"

Cons: "No white wine"

Pros: "speediness of boarding"

Cons: "too slow service, it took almost to landing to get offered drinks and sale, crew weren't very efficient."

Pros: "I made it finally to Prague."

Cons: "British Airways did not have a plane available in timely manner. They were jerking us around with the departure time. They changed the departure time over 6x. The range was zero to 3 hours late. Finally, we departed about 80 minutes late. The blame was on weather but I did not believe them. I looked from the window - weather was fine with slight drizzle and about 3000 ft overcast. Also, the flight to Prague had no food but mostly no drinks no sodas. I'm questioning their business practices when they were asking about 5 pounds for a drink. I will fly with some other airlines next time."

Cons: "BA pulled a fast one on the passengers by first gradually increasing the projected delay, up to 3.5 hours, and then last minute changing the flight status from "delayed by 3.5 hours" to "on time, gate open". They did this without making any announcements on the loudspeaker, or sending any notifications to the passengers. Whoever didn't see the status change on a screen would have missed the flight. The crew must have recognized this (after half of the plane didn't show up), and just decided to wait some more, so our "on time" flight was eventually delayed by 1.5 hours only because the airline couldn't shepherd the passengers together when they were ready to leave."

Pros: "It was only a 90 minute flight"

Cons: "I paid for the exit row and did not get it. Originally I paid for 10B and 10C which were on the exit row on the seating chart. They then cancelled my seats so I had to go back online and pick again. They wanted to charge me again so I called BA and got seats 10D and 10E which were also supposed to be exit row seats. They even asked me if my wife and I were physically able to follow flight crew instructions for the exit row. When we boarded we found out 10D and 10E were now the row in front of the exit row which did not recline. After being packed like sardines on the flight from Philly to London I was looking forward to some legroom. It could not have been any worse."

Pros: "The crew was great"

Cons: "In Dubai, British Air won't allow you check in more than three hours prior to flight time. Since you can't check in, you can't go through security. Since you can't go through security, you can't get to the actual terminal (where all the stores, restaurants, lounges, etc are). Therefore, if you arrive at the airport too early. you're stuck in the outer holding area prior to the check in area. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go. Still weighted down with all your bags. A real bummer. Once you're allowed to check in, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the real terminal (check in, emigration, security, train ride, etc). The flight starts boarding one hour prior to departure. This leaves about 90 minutes to make it through the entire terminal and get to the gate. Any extra time can be spent looking at all the things you could have enjoyed if you could have checked in earlier. Since nobody including British Air told this in advance, we ended up twiddling our thumbs for eleven hours in the outer holding area."

Pros: "I loved the friendly crew who seem to work tirelessly to take care of everyone's needs and have the role of flight attendant, server, and bartender. I personally loved the meals, drinks, and snacks on the flight from London to Las Vegas. It's nice to break up the long hours. Lots of great movies and shows to choose from especially "classics" like Friends and The Truman Show."

Cons: "If there is any way you could please consider taking out a row or two of seats to give everyone just a little more room to breathe and stretch our legs, it would be so appreciated! This makes such a huge difference on our overall mood and feelings of health and well being. We were all so crammed in our seats I could barely move to even reach a book from my bag let alone stretch my legs. Luckily I was sitting next to a very friendly passenger, so it was bareable. But it was a 10 hour flight; that's a long time to sit with moving. There are also tiny corners to stand and stretch our legs but we seemed to be in the airline attendants' way- although they never said anything."

Pros: "I liked that the plane landed and I survived."

Cons: "The online check-in didn't work, the phone customer service only answered after a 20 min hold and was unhelpful, the seats were so close that the seat in front of me hit me in the head when the woman sitting in it reclined, and the gate attendant was rude. People taking this flight and expecting to do work or watch the in-flight entertainment shouldn't. There is not enough space to use your laptop and when the person in front of you reclines while you are trying to read, not only won't you be able to read but you won't be able to watch a movie either (unless you are very short) since the screen is tilted accordingly."

Cons: "I added a quick trip to Austria while I was in Europe and timed it so I would fly back to London and then back to LA on the same day. London had a huge wind storm on 10/21 so my flight from Austria landed 1 hour late, with that I missed my London-LAX flight on BA (that I purchased via Kayak). The BA agents tried to help me but were not able to use my Kayak ticket to re-book me or at least recover some of my investment. There was no phone number provided on my reservation and after an hour of trying to help me, they said I have to buy a brand new ticket. The cost for my return and my seat reservation both were lost and my new ticket was $1,600 (and I had to spend the night in a hotel at Heathrow as at that point all US flights left for the day). I usually book directly with the airlines because I want to avoid situations like this, so it is too bad that the one time I come to Kayak I end up having to buy a new ticket that was twice as expensive as the original one. Pros: "Staff was exceptional."

Cons: "First a large number of the flight was flagged for special screening which meant that they had to do additional procedures and were very understaffed as many of us talking near 100 people had to stay behind and wait for over an hour as three employees screened us in detail. This while the rest of the plane was already boarded. Thus the flight left late and arrived very late to LAX. Secondly the refrigeration on board for food was broken thus spoilong the food so we only received one meal on an 11 hour flight which we were starving and not what we paid for during this flight. They did offer snacks but when not having a full meal as paid for it is a huge let down. Thirdly why is Wi-Fi not offered on this flight. Due to the late departure and late arrival we missed my connection to TUS and was not able to make calls or email during the flight. Not acceptable. Very unhappy and will never be flying with British Airways again. I WILL ALSO NEVER LET FRIENDS AND FAMILY FLY WITH THEM. An airline as prestigious as BA needs to work better at ensuring the minimum on offering wait we the customer pays for and this did not happen. Staff was amazing and very friendly but we were very dejected and felt that your brand suffered a lot with this experience. I do hope to hear from airline about this incident as my wife and I travel constantly."

Pros: "Smooth and nice flight. Crew was friendly and attentative."

Cons: "I found it surprisingly coincidental that both my wife's and my checked bags did not make the flight to Santorini. Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. Now we'll do our honeymoon without a wardrobe change, filing claims for the contents of our bags, as no one can tell us what happened, or where the bags are, and we're about to depart for our next city. Never, NEVER book a trip from a 3rd party. The seats next to the toilets that don't recline, attitude from airlines, now my first lost bag in 10 years (I fly 3 times a month, too)."

Pros: "When I traveled Lax to Denmark via London on July.13. At that time from London to Copenhagen crews only sale the food and drinks. My group tour customers were thirsty and they had to take some pills. so they asked just cup of water, but the crews did not provide even a cup of water . That time was dinner time so every people was so hungry too. And also yesterday my another tour customer was so hungry. I understand you not served food at time. but just serve them a snack or juice . Because time jet lag make them more tired and hungry. I was worked at the Korean air line before, so I understand the stewardess should do only follow the regulations. But just serve some water to hungry and tired passengers."

Cons: "When I traveled Lax to Denmark via London on July.13. At that time from London to Copenhagen crews only sale the food and drinks. Pros: "always friendly and helpful"

Cons: "The boarding in London. They did not call numbers or rows so people just squeezed...and pushed ... drinks If I sit on a window seat I sometimes do not notice the serving of liquids. I would appreciated it very much if they talk to me when they serve water and juice. Otherwise I get dehydrated. Happened last year on my flight back to the US, too.I had to get up and walk back to get water(2016). breakfast Breakfast used to be better with fresh fruits and cheese.and roll The pizzas are like cardboard, I do not care about. Other wise I am satisfied. Thanks"

Cons: "The BA crew was awful. I was not feeling well and wanted a cup of tea. I didn't realize you had to purchase it. I gave a member of the crew my credit credit card she said out loud "your card is declined" several people heard and then proceeded to hand me my card and walked away. I was mortified. I, of course thinking my bank had put a hold on my account because I was outside the US, called them to find out why it was declined and was told they had no idea and they did even see the $2.00 charge go through and therefore it wasn't declined on the bank's end. The way she handled it was awful, no discretion. I was visibly ill and just needed something warm to help me feel better. Needless to say I will never fly BA again and will let my company know how I was treated."

Pros: "We had ONE customer service rep in Heathrow who was incredibly helpful and tried to help get us home. She was wonderful."

Cons: "Their delayed flight from Milan to London caused us to miss our flight from London to NY, and thus our flight from NY to Denver, which was standby. When we explained how difficult it would be to catch another flight to Denver from NY with it being the weekend, and attempting to get a flight to another airport with higher chances of getting us home, their customer service rep informed us that as long as they 'fulfilled their contract' to get us to NY, it wasn't really their problem how we got home (or couldn't get home) after that."

Cons: "The BA agent Giles, was rude and spoke to us condescending. His inept handling of rescheduling my family caused us to not only be split up in our flight from London to Vienna, but the majority of us had to wait 10 hours for the next flight. He could've rescheduled us together, but instead he ignored my sister's request to do so, rudely told us to get back in line, and rescheduled another family on the same flight as my sister, thus eliminating our seats together, and forcing her to travel alone."

Cons: "So, the flight to Frankfurt never happened because of whatever happened with British Airways on 05/27/2017. We waited without information in the airport for over 6 hours and then were told to exit after which it took another 3 to 4 hours to get out of the airport. We were told to find a hotel with no help or voucher - nothing was showing available under $1000 a night, save our receipts for any food we might have, rebook our flight. As we were leaving the airport, we were given water, nothing before that. We received information as we were leaving the airport about our rights for recompense. Fortunately, a Heathrow staff member helped us with finding a hotel that cost about $400. We never were able to get to Frankfurt to see our family there and had to book train tickets to Paris to meet our hotel reservation there two days later. It was a bad situation, handled in a way that caused confusion, fear and unhealthy situations of standing for long periods and I will not be doing business with British Airways in future."

Pros: "Once I was actually at a boarding person to be checked in, the process was quick"

Cons: "Announcement was made to all passengers inn rows 20-40 or so to line up, which we did. Then, we were told only priority passengers were to be boarding. Priority passengers asked where their linne was, and a BA crew member snappishly answered "where the sign says Priority". The sign wasn't able to be seen, and these passengers shouldn't have been faulted for BA's ineptness. After being checked in, I asked an another BA agent where to go. Upon arriving at the aircraft, I was rather frostily told "you're onn the wrong level" and pointed to the stairs. I let them know that I was on the 2nd level due to the direction of the BA staff. My seat space was reduced to a mere 12" when the passenger in front of me abruptly reclined his seat all the way back."

Pros: "The seat I had was good"

Cons: "No food, no drinks. They asked me to pay even for water. After a very long trans Atlantic flight, this being a connecting flight after a long a tired 11 hours layover in London. It is an embarrassing how the airline cares (or doesn't care) who travels with them, where the people are coming from so they can understand their needs. I don't think it would had make a difference to the airline if they would acknowledge connecting passengers and eventually try to make their experience a little easier. But asking for a glass of water and not getting any is an embarrassing experience for this airline. I will never fly with British if I can."

Pros: "The first class steward who helped us when he didn't need too. The free films."

Cons: "I flew British Air in the past and had excellent service. I actually would have paid a bit more to choose them as an airline. No longer! Horrible service. Our stewardess was rude and unhelpful. Best example, when my husband turned in the remains of his last meal, something had leaked over his tray table. She didn't bother to help. He luckily had some extra napkins. She watched him clean it up and then left without taking the soiled napkins. Thanks. The meal quality was poor on the international flight. American handled the start of our vacation. Such a superior international flight quality compare to British Air."

Cons: "Since 1st flight was extremely delayed due to stupidity of staff unable to get head count of passengers, the BA system rebooked my 2nd flight which should hve not happened because I made it to my original flight prior to gate closing AND that flight was delayed anyways so I made it in plenty of time to make it yet my seat was taken from me and then boarding started. And I have to state WHY this BA flight was delayed - because they "had problem getting the catering on board" thus missed runway time. Anyways, since I was rebooked I went to my new gate, waited many hours to hve another issue, where they couldnt find my new seat in system and changed, and again flight was delayed this time due to having a flat tire... Common BA, seems your quality dropped 99%."

Pros: "My flight going to the UK was rough, but the flight home was as solid as being on the ground. This is my third round trip with BA and while the trip home last year I experienced poor customer service from the flight attendant assigned to our side of the plane, both my inbound and home bound flight crews, this time were exemplary. Very kind and caring. The pasta was very good."

Cons: "The single Halloween size kit-kat bar that we were given as a snack. Was so small that I naturally believed that we could take more than one. I was politely told that the singe 3.5inch twin wafers were all that we were allowed per person. We have a candy jar, in our office and with the extra supply in the supply closet, we would have been able to give everyone at least two. So, my recommendation is if you are flying transatlantic, to stock up at Heathrow for extra food. Also, the seats were very very small. I was lucky and the plane was not sold out, so both flights my seat mate and myself were able to put a seat between each other. I found myself reasoning that for the price of the flight I was paying for transport to England not for comfort."

Pros: "great selection of in flight entertainment."

Cons: "At JFK there was a long wait for the luggage, which ended up not being delivered to the carousel, after we had waited for almost 2 hours. Granted, there was some snow and some technical issue since the fire alarm system was flashing the whole time, but still, there were only two announcements made during that time, and the second one to let us know that we'd have to arrange for delivery of our luggage on the website. By that time, it was past 11;30pm and everyone was dead tired, when the flight had been supposed to land at 7:25pm. I think the blame is to be laid on the JFK installations. Everywhere I travel in Europe, airports are in brand new condition, and not only departure areas like in the US. No wonder baggage delivery was a mess after just a little snow/"

Pros: "I love Itsu restaurant in Heathrow. Healthy, ready and cheap! Get the Heathrow card & get points (although they take 7days to post!) There are also good shoe sales in the airport at christmas season."

Cons: "Heavy fog on London pushed my Nice-Heathrow 2h from even taking off, so they knew and could plan on coordinating the delay. yet, they didn't even delay the Heathrow-Boston flight 5minutes (surprised it kept its spot in the supposed heavy fog for take off). One thing that made matters worse on each way was that Heathrow has a mandatory security check in the middle of a flight connection even if you don't go out of the airport and don't want to check England. This wastes a lot of time in transfers, prevents people from carrying liquids they might have acquired, and makes tired passengers wait in line for another 1h or more, and get themselves in those machines, which is very frowned upon to opt-out of. I like the food on BA in general - good quality meat without tendons or too much fat, and overall nicely cooked. However their strength is in Indian food, and they should limit English food to 1 token per tray (mince pie ok, but the bitter coleslaw was inedible and sometimes we just need direction as I am just realizing now what the cotted curd was for: the minced pie). Not a horrible experience, but with 5h20 arrival delay, you'd think they'd offer me more than $6 for lunch! Finally, I hated having to wait in a random place until 1h before my flight and then dropping everything I was doing to run to my gate last minute."

Pros: "The flight itself went smoothly despite some windy conditions, and we were transported in one piece, without incident, from LHR to IAD. The crew members were pleasant in conversation and reasonable in frequency of food service. Once, when I pressed the attendant button, one of them came quickly to ask me what the problem was, and that kind of responsiveness is always a plus, in my opinion. The seats reclined a reasonable amount, not the mere 2-5 cm one sometimes experiences lately."

Cons: "The aircraft was aging at least a bit, and it was clear because my seat almost would not return to the upright position and stay there. Several times I tried to return it to upright as the end of the flight neared, and it would easily move but would return to reclined once I leaned back. It was as if I had been the whole time keeping my finger on the button that makes the seat movable. After I'd about given up, the seat finally stayed upright even when I put my weight back on it. My flight attendant misunderstood my drink request, but I let it go because the result was close to what I had asked for. It could have been that there was too much background noise - not sure."

Cons: "Boarding process atrocious! First a gate change from A to C gates, requiring a train to transit. Then, after walking down a jetway, we were sent through an emergency exit, down two flights of stairs and herded onto buses, and I mean herded. We (including elderly and moms with infants) alongwith our carry-ons were harshly ordered to squeeze together on a bus until there was literally no room to move. A lengthy bus ride with very disgruntled passengers to plane was followed by another set of stairs up to the cabin door. Finally, our departure was delayed 30 minutes while the bags of 2 passengers who got lost in the airport (probably on a bus or train) were retrieved. Not sure whether the fault lies with Heathrow or British Airways, but the experience was bad enough to avoid both in future."

Cons: "Wheelchair attendant was late picking me up from the Club World lounge (at least the British Airways agent monitoring the whole thing cared and kept us updated while we sat out front waiting. Despite the fact that I'd checked with BA the previous night that yes, I was registered to have a gluten-free meal (as of two weeks beforfehand), the flight attendants had no record of this and no GF meal had been included for me. Entertainment = faded screens, bad touch screen interface, crashed nd needed to be rebooted at one point, touch screen minimally responsive, a shockingly small number of choices. Did not have wireless or a usb port, but fortunately there was a universal AC outlet and I had my wall charger along so that I could spend most of the flight using my iPad to read. I'm especially displease with the food, boarding process, and entertainment considering my boyfriend's and my seats were Club World seats I'd paid for (rather than receiving them as a reward). On the bright side, the lie-flat seats saved me from days of post-flight pain, so it could have been worse. Not pleased overall, and the next time I travel internationally, I'll probably chooseanother airline if the prices only differ by a few hundred dollars."

Pros: "The stewards and stewardesses were great. They worked hard to feed and hydrate the people in their areas, and didn't get cranky when people got up to walk around and exercise. They were pleasant and always available to help if problems came up.. They maintained a good sense of humor and seemed to care about keeping people in good spirits."

Cons: "We ran 2 hours and 10 min. over schedule getting from London to PHX. I can't understand why because pilot never said we were running late. When we landed we weren't told about the 2hr 10 min. time overage, but my sister said the plane reversed course around Iceland for a while, then turned around again and got back on track, but the PHX cell lot flight tracking board never said the flight was delayed or running late. She waited for me to get out of the airport an additional 3 hours. Luggage took a LONG time to get to the staging area and we had no clue what the problem was. It seems a simple task to put the PHX luggage in one area of cargo, and luggage going on to another destination in another area so 1st off clients could get their luggage and leave. There was a lot of luggage on the carousel that didn't get picked up. Very poor on the ground crew's part. When I have been in the air for 10 - 12 hours, I want to get my luggage and get home. Customs was a breeze compared to getting my luggage. BA lost my luggage at Heathrow on the way to Prague, and on the return had problems getting luggage to the passengers WAITING at the airport. You need to address how you handle customer luggage."

Pros: "safety was most important and the crew got us to our destination with no problems."

Cons: "They ran out of chicken meal therefore offered second choice of meal which was risoto and pasta as a salad. I would have much preferred a fresh salad with fresh fruit as a dessert and a simple meal of vegetables grilled than risoto and pasta. Too much starch and too heavy. Also, the entertainment choices of movies in English were poor. I would have preferred great classic movies that can be watched over and over than new ones with a low rating. I only watched one movie. Also, found the map hard to navigate and understand. Landing was painful to my ears as usual and not sure anything can be done about that. I did take a pill to help with the pain."

Cons: "British Airways had many, many problems getting people through to their connections at Heathrow. Our flight arrived from Rome two hours late causing us to miss our flight to San Jose. We then stood in line for 5 HOURS in Heathrow only to watch every potential flight to a connection in the US take off from the tarmac. They were understaffed and did not seem to care about the line that went winding down the hallway of the airport. BA put us up in a hotel all the way out in Gatwick (an airport an hour away and back) because they already filled every room at Heathrow airport. We had to fly into SFO through an entirely different airline the next day instead of BA to San Jose and then take an UBER home from there. Worst travel experience I have ever had."

Pros: "Nothing was good. You're terrible at your job."

Cons: "Really my worst flying experience ever. For an international flight they had the worst TV's in the head rest. Picture was faded. You get stuck with crappy middle seat unless you're lucky enough to quickly book a window at that 24hr period before the flight. They have a greedy little trick they like to pull to make more money like us the consumer don't realize what's going on. They sell you a ticket then try to swindle more money out of you to request your seat. Total BS move. When I complained about it they gave me some canned response about how its better customer services stating that some customers prefer to pay to request their seat. Are you kidding me? Why not just state you're selling window seats for more money instead of trying to play your customers for idiots. Only makes me want to never fly your airline again."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Departure time was 4:10 pm, and they finished boarding at 4:45 pm. Then we had to sit in the plane on the tarmac for another 2 hours, while the captain kept coming up with the weirdest excuses about why we are delayed. First they had to do a manual passenger head count, because the numbers didn't add. After an hour, he says they are finally done counting and are waiting for the truck to push the plane on to the runway. He says that since this is a A380, it needs a bigger truck that is in short supply at Heathrow!! He came on the intercom few more times in the next hour with more excuses about why we are delayed, but by then I was too mad to remember what the hell he was saying."

Cons: "Even though we had assigned seats we did not get them. I requested an isle seat and given a middle seat. Boarding was by far the worst I've see in the 30 years I'm flying, no order, you could barely understand the person making the announcements. The entertainment system was outdated (screen size and resolution) as well as the controls were extremely hard to use. The seats were hard to use and lean back. A lot of force was required to even make them move 1 in. The AC system was NOT working. It felt like we were inside an oven. I've repeatedly asked the crew to fix the AC along with other passengers, and their response was we are going to look into it. It took over 2 hours for the plane to start cooling down. By that time I was sweating profusely and had a headache. Despite the fact that we made our reservations 3 months before the flight, we did not have a seat assigned and we had to wait, in line, for over 20 minutes to talk to a customer rep in order to figure out what's the issue with our seat assignment. To top all that my wife was pregnant and there were no places for her to seat while we waited for a resolution to this matter."
